Spring Ephemerals trail hike

Experience the Lost Creek Fungi Hunt in spring on this naturalist-guided hike exploring spring ephemerals. These first plants and flowers of the year have a short season and are extra special because of it. Learn what they are and how to identify them from a Fillmore County naturalist.

We'll hike about 3 miles of trail, with plenty of time to stop and ask questions, take pictures, and look at little green growing things (such as these Dutchman's Britches pictured above).

This hike is free to attend for all ages. Please leave pets at home, but bring water and your curiosity! We'll gather at the Jordan Town Hall and then walk as a group to the trailhead to begin hiking.
