About the event
Join us on the Lost Creek Hiking Trail in the new year to learn about trees, mushrooms, and timber management!
This winter group hike will be led by MN Master Forester Bill Bailey. He'll lead our 4 mile hike through his section of the Lost Creek Hiking Trail and talk about the timber management practices he uses to keep his trees healthy, combat invasive undergrowth, and harvest wood for lumber.
We'll also talk about fungi and explore several of the crochet mushrooms placed among this section of the trail. Ask me questions about fungi and this public art installation as we hike!
This is a FREE event but RSVP so we can have a rough headcount!
