Part of my Disco Pomp series of abstract color and shape studies.
A series of orange, yellow, green, blue and purple crochet circles set in a blue felt background within a deep 18" diameter embroidery hoop. 
Each circle has handstitched metallic silver sequins and colorful seed beads at its center.
The back of the hoop is covered by white felt for a clean finish and a wire is attached at the top to allow seamless hanging on a wall.
