This fiber scene captures the moon in a starry night sky reflecting over still water, with trees on the waterline and a shot of the northern lights streaking through the sky. The water is fabric, stitched in place and with appliqued details of the moon's reflection. The sky, moon, and trees are crocheted and stitched to each other with thread. The stars are metallic sequins and glass beads stitched in place.
 
This painting measures 9.5"x11.5" or 12"x14" within the frame. The wooden frame has a wire attached across the back for wall mounting, as well as a stand so the painting can be displayed on a shelf, table, etc. The painting and frame come together and must stay together for display, as they are attached as part of the process.
